Community Support
Some of our clients have the option to access support online, at home, or in school through our dedicated team of Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants.

Speech Pathology
Assessments & Reports
All new clients at Communitalk begin with a consultation and assessment. If you have had an assessment recently (within the last six months), we may not require a comprehensive new assessment.
This assessment provides us with the opportunity to set achievable communication goals and tailor ongoing sessions to meet your child's specific needs.

PAYMENT AND FUNDING
We support private and NDIS clients
Invoices from Communitalk Speech Pathology services may be eligible for rebate through your private health fund. We recommend contacting your fund to confirm whether your level of cover entitles you to a rebate.
We accept clients who are self-managed or plan-managed under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Additionally, we provide services under the Chronic Disease Management (formerly Enhanced Primary Care or EPC) Medicare items on the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS).

Communitalk Speech Pathology is located at Sutherland in the Sutherland Shire. We are above Priceline at Sutherland.
There is plenty of 2-hour free parking located around our clinic as well as easy access to both train and bus services.

TELEHEALTH
Online support options are available
Online and Telehealth services have been a core part of our offerings since early 2020. Since then, we have successfully delivered hundreds of therapy consultation services via Telehealth.
Our clinical team is highly trained and equipped to provide quality services through this platform. We have found this model of evidence-based service delivery to be both effective and efficient. It allows us to complement in-person services, especially when families are unable to attend sessions physically.
